The CRP Henri Tudor - CRTE

Created in 1987, the Public Research Centre Henri TudorĀ“s main aim is to promote innovation in both the private and public sectors by offering a large panel of services and activities: R&D projects, technology transfer, technological assistance and consulting, high level training and qualification, doctoral research, animation of innovation networks, high-tech business incubation.

The Resource Centre for Environmental Technologies (CRTE), a common structure of the CRP Henri Tudor and the Luxembourgish Ministry of the Environment, started its activities in 1998 and employs today an interdisciplinary staff of 30 researchers. At a national level the CRTE provides expertise on environmental technologies, both to public stakeholders and industry, with a focus on small and medium sized enterprises in the following sectors: materials industry, production and distribution of energy, water supply and sanitation, construction.

The CRTE promotes the implementation of best available techniques (BAT) for a more efficient substance and energy flow management and provides decision support, based on the application of tools and methods to minimize environmental impacts of products, processes, services.
